Bridgette Agee
Bridgette Agee, R.N., is the patient coordinator and nurse on staff at Marina Weight Loss. At our Marina Del Rey facility, her role includes educating and supporting patients through the pre and post operative processes, making sure the program meets the high standards set by the ASMBS for Center of Excellence programs for Bariatric Surgery, and assisting doctors in patient care and treatment.
Bridgette attended California State University Northridge,and received Bachelor of Science degree in June 1986. In 2000, she became a surgical nurse working with bariatric patients. She has experience counseling patients and family members, meeting the special needs of bariatric patients, and providing follow-up care including nutrition and exercise counseling and running support groups.
Bridgette has completed the following certifications and training modules and holds these memberships:
- Certified Bariatric Nurse (2007)
- American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (2002–present)
- LAP-BAND Preceptorship training program (2002)
- Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery Preceptorship training program (2001)
